New DMB - June 2nd! I'm looking forward to it.

Also in music - Rogue Wave. Awesome band on Brushfire Records (Jack's Label). Pretty unique sound, one of those bands you've heard a lot but didn't know who it was.

QOTW: What restaurant recently opened up in downtown Greenville, PA?

Thanks!

  2. DOH! Busted on the paraphrasing. Man, it's been a day today. You should ask Dan about his Jeep sometime.

  3. Joy: Another 2-peat! And 2 weeks in a row! Come on everyone, she's embarrassing you! I went there over break and I enjoyed it.

Ali: I will get in touch, haven't talked with him in a while. I have a good time over break with the his family. Have you met them? Amber and Michelle are a lot of fun, even on a Thursday night. A LOT of fun!

  4. Uhm, I wasn't really trying to win. Dan and Ellie are trying to recruit me to move to PA. They cut me off in the middle of listening to the show, so now I must pick up where I left off.

  5. Okay, I logged off here yesterday and realized that I didn't post the other comment.

First, dirty Somali pirates. That's my new phrase for when something is kicking my butt at work. Tack on this: What's up with Democratic Presidents and Somali's?

Second, the TEA Party kind of ticked me off. That's alot of wasted tea right there. They used a fish tank here for the demonstration. I know, that's how the first one went down. Whatever, still wasted alot of tea.

  6. I totally appriciate you guys and what you do.

Now, there is another difference in the tea parties aside from the Taxation without representation. We hijacked a boatload of brittish Tea and, if I'm not mistaken, killed their men. An organized "tea" protest is going to do nothing. The Boston Tea Party was violent and actually accomplished something. This Tea whine fest was pansy and pointless.

You couldn't be more right about the media. Each media outlet has thier own agenda. I like to watch Headline news, fox news, MSNbc and KDKA. I get a pretty good balance of bullshit from both sides. Fox has the hottest women by far.

  7. P. S. I must correct myself about that last part. While Fox news has the more hot women, the hottest of them all is on Headline News. Robin Meade. Look her up. Hot.

  8. You know what Parker? Maybe that's the other reason why I'm kind of pissed about the TEA Party, cause it just didn't have the same effect. I mean, I'm advocating killing people, but we have become sissified.

  9. WHAT'S HAPPENING??? Listening to This American Life right now. AWESOME! So far as the tea parties are concerned, some bloodshed would have helped get the word out. Just a couple isolated incidents would be fine.

Parker: We've always appreciated you. You helped make John and I sweet in our formative years, without destroying us. Well, me anyways. Fox does have a good number of hotties... But it's amazing how a someone can open their mouth and kill the mood. Perhaps I could mute it? Or moot it?

Ali: Who isn't trying to win? It's like Twitter, everyone knows someone who's doing it! Another thing that's wild about these Pirates is that when the pirates (even the pawns at the bottom of the chain) get their money they can basically retire because the cost of living is so low. It's like winning the lottery.

  10. Oh, and I posted a blog on my own blog, http://am1979.blogspot.com, after the show. (There's also a link at the top of this page.) If felt good and I'll do it after every show from now on. I even included funny internet pictures!

  11. KLOVE or AirOne had a small bit on those pirates the other day. Basically these guys used to be fishers and they're flat broke. No, the station wasn't trying to defend them, but I guess they were trying to get behind why they do it.

I'm still having a hard time with pirates having AK-47's. Darn DISNEY! A pirate is a pirate, regardless of the weapon.

Dave: On the note to Parker, I can completely understand the killing the mood thing. It's happened one too many times and I'm sure I've been guilty of it myself.
