  1. I don't really have a problem with Obama going on Letterman. I have slightly more of a problem with him throwing out the first pitch at the all star game, but I really don't care that much about it. What I care about is the total amount of globe trotting he is doing. Did he really need to make a stop to pick up Willie Mays on the way to the All Star Game? Probably not. I think Willie Mays can afford a plane ticket. Did he need to take the wife out for valentines day? No. Did he need to fly the whole familly to Paris? No. I would like to see an Itemized list of where Air Force One has been in just the last 6 to 7 months and for what reason. Obama wants to be known as "the every man", but the everyman just can't go to Chicago for the night for dinner and a show. They really can't go on that trip and make the rest of the country pay for it. Maybe it's time for Obama to just stay home for awhile to save some tax payer money.

  3. Whaddup Parker!!!

After reading what you said, I basically agree. Let's see what all this costs. We're not seeing it, so it's probably too much. We'll chat this up a bit more next week.

And this is not horse shoes or hand grenades. Sorry!

  4. So close on the year...

It's gotta be costing a lot, but remember when we talked about those car guys flying to D.C. instead of driving? Maybe it's like that. He seems to be combining trips, like when he went on Leno he was already in L.A. doing "president" stuff... I don't know. I'm sure he's getting over on us just like they all do. He's just more visible - a celebrity. It's clear that that's what the average American wants - to watch celebrities live their lives 24/7. It's pathetic. And we elected one...

    I like Obama though.

Not the same as "Spidey" "Bennifer" "Brangelina" or any s#!1 like that. If 'Idiocracy' holds up (and sadly, it probably will), we'll see a President Spears / Vice President Hilton ticket in about 2028. Think of all the "credibility" those "entertainers" will have by then! Just like Governor Terminator and Congressman Sonny and Cher! Let's not forget President Cowboy Movie Actor Reagan!!!

    America... F* YEAH!

  5. I knew it was early 90s sometime. Drats, I missed out on the glory that is the question of the week winner. Maybe Joy will let me take credit for one of her 30!!!!

Anyway, I fear Idiocracy is much closer than anyone knows. Jesse the Body Ventura? Now Stuart Smalley? I did my own mini questionaire amongst the black people that I work with concerning why they voted for Obama. First I asked them their core beliefs. Most were Pro-Life. All of them were against same sex marriage. None of them cared about Universal health care since they were all covered. Doesn't sound like a liberal agenda. Then I flat out asked why they voted for Obama. One was actually honest and said she voted because he was black. Others said it was because he was Anti-War. Is he really? Isn't he really about HIS war and not Bush's war? Most people voted for Obama because of his race like it was their favorite video on 106 and Park. Don't get me wrong, I am sure lots of people voted for McCain for the same reason. I once thought that if you weren't knowlegable about the subject, don't vote. Now, I'm afraid that nobody would be left to vote. Humanity is doomed to a life of TMZ and Twitter. I just hope Silas will be different.
