ReplyDeleteBleh, way back when I used to like pop music more, I had seen some shows. I'd rather gnaw my foot off than go through that again.

I would like to bring up point about Dave just cruising on past the "fact" of the world running out of gas. There are lot's of people that believe "Peak Oil" is just a myth, and I tend to agree. Why wouldn't the few people who control the oil want us to believe it is running out? They can charge much more for it if we think it's rare.
ReplyDeleteI am all for new technology in the auto industry. Anytime you can create compitition into the market it is a good thing. Spread the money around.
Nodding my head in agreement with Parker on that last paragraph. I'm all for finding better gas mileage for the type of vehicle that I have now, assuming that it can still carry it's load. Honestly, when it happens, I'll probably be one of the first in line to buy it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the cookies came out good. Maybe next time I won't use dark chocolate though, because they did look kind of funny. Meh, as I said on facebook: Chocolate and Peanut Butter are a relationship that will stand the test of time.
Even if we don't run out of oil, it's still probably better to use less in general. If "peak oil" is real, or just an exaggeration, it's still a resource that has started to kind of bite us in the ass a bit. The middle east wouldn't matter to America is it wasn't sitting on top of our addiction.
