QOTW: Last week's outro song was sung by who, and what 90's alt-rock band did he/she front?

  1. Walk of shame............hmmmm. I thought about Korea for a minute there. Osan, New Years Eve.

Alcohol and caffeine is such a bad mix. Bleck. I can't even drink those things alone.

I'm still a bit miffed about the Fort Hood bit. I was stationed there for 2 years.

I heard something on the radio the other day that a good portion of people who turned their trucks in bought new trucks on the cash for clunkers, even though the mileage was maybe 1 mph better.

QOTW answer, part 1: Mike Doughty. Part 2:Soul Coughing

  2. Yeah, I think the Cash for Clunkers was really just stimulus #2. Come on, can we really trust car dealers with a couple of billion dollars? Seriously?

  3. Nice job, Ali! Mike Doughty is awesome. I like Cash for Clunkers, but really it's just justification for us buying the companies I think. Too bad I couldn't ditch my 15 mpg SUV and get a smaller ride, but soon enough...

  4. You could, I believe we refer to this "smaller ride" as a 10 speed!

  5. DOH! By the time my truck is paid off, I'm hoping that there will be trucks with better gas mileage. I know, I could just give up on trucks, but I like being able to throw stuff in the bed of the truck when I need to.

  6. My next car will be a hybrid. I'm not anti-truck, and there are some decent mileage out there (Honda Ridgeline,GMC Sierra, new F-150). If I could afford a real bike that fits a 6 ft-200 lb. man, I'd ride a lot more. My EvilMart mountain bike is a piece. I'm moving to a city anyway, so I won't need a car until after school is done. Do you own a bike, Dave? Do you ride it?

  7. "Idiot" is misspelled in the polls... irony

  8. I too have a wally bike. I like mine, but I'd like to spend a little bit more money on one and get a better bike. In the meantime, I'll just ride this one and be happy I have it.
