Game Change movie - shows a bit how the Republicans got where they are.  Old School (R)’s would actually be more like today’s liberals: stay out of the bedroom, spend big $ on infrastructure (Eisenhower), don’t spend into a deficit, be cautious and use diplomacy in foreign affairs, emphasize states’ rights, and leave people alone as long as they aren’t harming anyone else.
