Dave, you need to follow the NFL all year. Get a TV so that you can watch ESPN and Conan on TBS.
ReplyDeleteI would like to try the beer. I don't know if I want to pay the cost of it. Right now the beer is only available online and costs $60 for 1 bottle. Maybe they can find a way to mass produce this to bring down the cost. I think it is neat how they make the beer by freezing it, at an ice cream store, for 21 days.
The illegal numbers is dumb. I agree with you John, how can you prove it?
I like your idea, John, of the homeless living in the abandoned mansions. That would be a lot better than constructing new buildings, and I think it should be more cost efficient.
On the banning, I agree that this is going to go to the Supreme Court. I don't think that this should be allowed, since it is similar to the Weird Al parodies. To me, it sounds like the "sequel" is just like a parody to the original.
I'm not sure how I feel about the bribing students. I can definitely see how it would work in the classroom setting, but something just doesn't feel right about it. Maybe it is just because it is something that hasn't been done before.
I have been living in this house in Punxsutawney for almost a year now and I have only met 2 people in the vicinity of us. I think I need to try your solution of the week. Our next door neighbor is about my age, but I have never said a word to him. I have given him the typical "nod" when I see him, but haven't engaged in conversation. I think I'm going to try to change that this week. I do know a good amount of people here in Punxsy, mainly from my work, but I have not done too much in my neighborhood.
Conan O'Brien on TBS would be cool. I hope it works out for him. I heard that Lopez was glad that he was going to a later time slot. He said "What Latino wouldn't want to be told he has to go to work an hour later." or something like that.
It's odd to listen to you guys talk about my brother like that. Sorry I'm too tall for you guys. Maybe you are too short. :-)
Listener OTW 3-Peat!!! Woot!!!

@nick:
ReplyDeleteYou are too tall to hug 97% of dudes. However, that's because guys like the arm on top. Perhaps you should focus on the 97% of the ladies that would enjoy your arms over theirs. Just a thought!
I'm a big fan of the "neighborly nod."
Congrats on the QOTW!!!
While talking to Dave today i told him about these and i said id link them for him to look at so here you go!
